Biography
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, where she also completed her specialization in physical medicine and rehabilitation. She defended her postgraduate specialist-academic studies in the same field with a scientific thesis entitled “Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of Supracondylar Humeral Fractures in Children.”
She completed her master’s academic studies in the field of healthcare system management, with the topic “Accessibility of Healthcare Services for the Elderly.” She defended her doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, entitled “Examination of Predictors of Physical Functioning Impairment in the Elderly Population.”
She is currently undertaking a subspecialization in the field of baromedicine, where she is in the final stage of completing a paper entitled “Therapeutic Effect of Hyperbaric Oxygenation on Functional Disability in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus with Neurovascular Complications and Pain.”
Based on the opinion of the Presidency of the Serbian Medical Society, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia awarded her the honorary title of Primarijus, while the Ministry of Science, in the field of medical sciences, awarded her the scientific title of Research Associate, based on significant scientific and research achievements.
She is an active member of national and international professional associations, a participant in numerous symposiums and congresses, as well as the author and co-author of several scientific papers published in domestic and international publications in the fields of physical medicine and rehabilitation and public health.
Dr. Milena Kostadinović is an expert in the field of early physical medicine and rehabilitation. Her specific professional interests include the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular diseases, as well as recovery after orthopedic injuries. In her work with patients, she applies modern professional doctrine and an individualized approach, with the aim of reducing pain, improving functional mobility, balance and overall quality of life.
