Dr. Mirjana Pantović, specialist in pediatrics, subspecialty trainee in endocrinology.

Dr. Mirjana Pantović is a specialist in pediatrics with clinical experience working in pediatric and neonatology departments, and is currently undergoing subspecialization in endocrinology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Since November 2024, she has been employed at the General Hospital Pančevo, at the Children’s Internal Department, where she works as a pediatrics specialist and subspecialty trainee in endocrinology. Previously, she was engaged at the Public Health Institution Hospital “Sveti Vračevi” in Bijeljina (Department of Pediatrics with a Neonatology Unit), and she further gained experience through on-call duties at the Public Health Institution Hospital “Srbija” East Sarajevo and the General Hospital Loznica. She attended her pediatrics specialization through work at several institutions, including the Institute for Mother and Child “Dr. Vukan Čupić” in Belgrade, and completed her internship at the Military Medical Academy.

She has particularly advanced her expertise in the field of ultrasound diagnostics in pediatrics, and in her daily practice she applies pediatric ultrasound (abdomen, thyroid gland and hips). She also participated as a lecturer in a program of the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska and UNICEF, aimed at supporting breastfeeding through primary healthcare.

She continuously follows modern professional guidelines and participates in continuing medical education programs both domestically and internationally.

At VIS Medical Polyclinic, she performs pediatric examinations and consultations, with the possibility of ultrasound diagnostics in pediatrics, as well as the assessment and monitoring of patients within the endocrinological orientation.
